ADR Support

Chapter 3 introduced the infrastructure of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) (including mediation, med-arb, and adjudication) in Hong Kong, Singapore, Mainland China, and Japan. This chapter will consider in greater depth how mediation, med-arb, and adjudication can support international commercial arbitration and make the latter more effective as an expeditious and cost-effective means of resolving cross-border disputes.
