Roland plans to integrate Albingia

ROLAND Rechtsschutz in Cologne will fully integrate the legal expenses insurer Albingia Rechtsschutz-Versicherung into existing operations. By October 2000, Albingia‘s business will be moved to Roland. Roland Rechtsschutz bought the Hamburg-based company from Axa Colonia with effect from January 1 2000. Axa Colonia acquired the Albingia group as part of the takeover of Guardian Royal Exchange by Axa group member Sun Life and Provincial, but sold the private health and legal expenses insurers.
