Rheinland expects to motor ahead

GIVEN an increase in premium income and an improved loss development during the first five months of 1999, German insurance group Rheinland, Neuss, expects a good performance for the whole of 1999. According to Rheinland, motor insurance so far had a favourable loss development. Motor accounts for half of Rheinland's business.
