Rescue complete as Trinre set to break even

TRINRE, the former reinsurer which pioneered direct selling of general insurance in Trinidad and Tobago, is poised to break
even this year after four years of losses. Following a series of problems, the reinsurer had to be rescued by Jamaican insurance
entrepreneur Dennis Lalor in early 1998.
