Concorde OK hope
AIR France’s chairman is hopeful that the airline’s fleet of Concordes will be given the go-ahead to fly again before the
autumn, writes Richard Banks, London.
Air France and British Airways grounded them following last July’s crash on the outskirts of Paris in which all 109 people
on board the Concorde were killed, plus four on the ground. BA expects to resume trans-Atlantic Concorde flights by the summer,
once safety authorities give their approval.
