HSE publishes stress league table for professionals

LONDON - Teachers, nurses, managers and professionals top the list of themost stressful jobs in the UK, according to the latest report by the Healthand Safety Executive (HSE). The report is based on research from a team atthe University of Bristol, who revealed in an earlier study that as many asone in five UK workers had been stressed or extremely stressed by theirwork. Elizabeth Gyngell, senior policy manager at the HSE's HealthDirectorate said: "This research confirms that there is no room forcomplacency about work-related stress. Although we now know more about howstress affects particular groups, it can affect anyone at any time."
