Amlin's members agency business to go to CBS

LONDON - Amlin has unveiled plans to sell its Lloyd's members' agencybusiness, Amlin Private Capital Limited and associated companies toCBS for a cash consideration of around �6.5m. The deal will includeMurray Lawrence Members Agency Limited, Murray Lawrence (UnderwritingAgents) Limited, SBW Insurance Research Limited, BMA Members AgencyLimited, Onahu Limited and Stace Barr Holdings Limited. Amlin saidthe proceeds of the deal, which is subject to Lloyd's and otherregulatory approval, will be used to develop its core underwritingbusinesses.
