Netherlands transparency call

AMSTERDAM - The amount of financial information supplied by insurers in the Netherlands remains limited and as a result, investment analysts, policyholders and other external users can be misinformed, a study by Erasmus University has warned. Commissioned by the Dutch finance ministry, a number of the findings made in the report have been incorporated into the ministry's recommendations to parliament on insurers' financial reporting.
