LIVs increase capacity holdings
THE Lloyd‘s auctions and accompanying bilateral trades have proved a popular tool for Lloyd‘s integrated vehicles to increase
their capacity on managed syndicates, writes Jessica McCallin. Amlin, formed following the merger of Angerstein Underwriting
Trust and Murray Lawrence, has increased its capacity on its managed syndicates by some 13% to �215.3m ($361.7m) of 1999 capacity,
using both avenues.
