London fumbles

THE putative International Underwriting Association to be formed by the merger of the Institute of London Underwriters (ILU) and the London International Insurance and Reinsurance Market Association (Lirma) remains in suspense. The delay may not be of critical importance in itself, but of greater potential damage is the impression it gives of the London market‘s ability to manage change.
