GERALD SIMONS will take over as chief executive officer of Bermudian-owned insurer Argus Group of Companies, replacing John Sainsbury, who retires on March 31, 1998, after almost 38 years with Argus. Now group sales manager, Mr Simons will serve a year as chief executive officer designate.
