Gan urges EU to act on aid

FRENCH insurer, Groupe des Assurances Nationales (Gan), has asked the European Commission to complete its inquiry into the
French government‘s latest aid proposals for the insurer before June 25 so that shareholders can approve its 1996 accounts
at its annual meeting.
