ROYAL Insurance has won the first British Insurance “Technology Initiative of the Year‘ Award (sponsored by Ernst & Young). This was for its implementation of a claims processing system linking staff in 12 regional offices and giving them network access to files stored centrally in Liverpool and Northampton.
