Building Law Monthly
BOOK NOTICE
R Wilmot-Smith, Construction Contracts Law and Practice (Oxford University Press, 2006), 537 plus appendices and index, hardback £155.
The appearance of this new book will be welcomed by legal practitioners working in the field of construction law. While there
are a number of established textbooks in the field, there is always room for a newcomer and the advantage of a new book is
that it has the opportunity to take a fresh look at the subject. For example, a feature of this book is the extensive discussion
in chapter 18 of the system of adjudication which has proved to be so controversial in the construction industry since its
inception.
