Building Law Monthly

BOOK REVIEW

The Construction Act: Time for Review. Frances Patterson and Philip Britton (eds). Published by the Centre of Construction Law & Management, King’s College London, November 2000. 238pp plus appendices and tables; paperback; £45.

The adjudication provisions contained in Part II of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 have already created a considerable volume of case-law and that case-law has taken up many pages of recent issues of Building Law Monthly . The present book provides us with a timely opportunity to reflect upon the Act and its impact upon the construction industry.
