The IMDG Code

IN an effort to keep pace with the evolving needs of the shipping industry, the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code has seen many changes since its adoption in 1965. None have been quite so radical as Amendment 30 which entered fully into force (after an optional 12 months transitional period) on 1 January 2002 and has, inter alia , involved the complete reformatting of the IMDG Code.
