ALL MINERS AND CONSTRUCTION WORKERS IN CHINA TO BE COVERED

Within three years work safety authorities in China will include all migrant workers in high-risk industries such as mining and construction in China’s industrial injuries insurance system, states a Shanghai Daily report. Dubbed the “Safety Programme” by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, the new system will first make sure that every miner in China is insured.
