Hazardous substances convention

Accession by Russia

The secretary-general of the IMO has the honour to refer to the International Convention on Liability and Compensation for Damage in Connection with the Carriage of Hazardous and Noxious Substances by Sea 1996 and to state that, in accordance with article 45, accession by the Russian Federation was effected by the deposit of an instrument on 20 March 2000.
