Fraud Intelligence
(Some) free cybercrime software
Software and advice designed to help businesses and law enforcement teams fight and detect cybercrime has been developed by
the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre and a commercial consortium. The “Cyber Tools On-Line Search for Evidence”
(CTOSE) project includes a computer Cyber-Crime Advisory Tool and an XML-based specification. Some tools are available to
all at no cost and others free only to law enforcement (
http://www.ctose.org/).
