‘Euro-Regulation’ back in the limelight

AS THE European Commission prepares to publish next month a fresh Communication dealing with issues such as e-commerce and the European single market in financial services in an effort to move implementation of the Financial Services Action Plan up a few gears, FSA chairman Howard Davies made a significant speech to the recent EUROFIN conference on 15 September which helps prepare the ground and sets a necessary wider context for that keenly awaited Commission Communication.
