Guidelines for Regulating Index Tracking Exchange Traded Funds

On 24 October 2003, the SFC published the Guidelines under the Code on Unit Trusts and Mutual Funds . The Guidelines, which become effective immediately, set out the regulatory requirements for the authorisation of index tracking exchange traded funds that are offered to the public in Hong Kong.
