Financial Services and Markets Tribunal Decision in Relation to Stockbrokers’ Conduct.
Joanna Gray, University of Strathclyde
Significance of Decision
The new Financial Services and Markets Tribunal, that assumed jurisdiction just over two years ago on commencement of the
Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, is now beginning to produce a steady stream of decisions in matters referred to it
by regulated firms and individuals affected by the Financial Services Authority’s (FSA) exercise of supervisory and disciplinary
powers.
