Gibraltar Securitisation Update

A typical securitisation will involve the transfer of ownership in categories of financial assets (perhaps commercial or residential mortgages, company loans, leases or contractual revenue streams) into a corporate vehicle specially established for that purpose (an SPV). The newly formed SPV would then issue notes or bonds which are backed by the assets transferred into the SPV.
