The European Parliament and Council Directive on certain legal aspects of information society services (No. 2000/31/EC; OJ L178/1, 17 July 2000), more generally known as the Electronic Commerce or e-commerce Directive (hereafter referred to as ECD), is being implemented into UK law at the moment.
