Tax Incentives for Venture Capital Investments

The Malaysian government recently gazetted legislation, which brought into effect tax incentives for venture capital investments. The tax incentives are in the form of tax exemption for venture capital companies (“VCC”), or a tax deduction for venture capital investments.
