Buffett may be called in GenRe finite case

As AIC went to press, jury selection for the trial of various ex-General Re officials and one ex-American International Group ( AIG) executive in connection with a disputed reinsurance arrangement had just started. Warren Buffett, head of General Re’s parent Berkshire Hathaway, may be called upon to give testimony as a witness in the case, which is due to start in the US District Court for the District of Connecticut early in January.
