Bermuda asks for views on finite risk regime

The Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) is another regulator planning to issue new finite rules and looking for market feedback on its approach. It’s fair to say the BMA is less interested than the Rialtóir Airgeadais in ploughing its own furrow, but the consultation paper issued earlier this year provides a detailed summary of the approaches taken in other jurisdictions. Responses are invited before September 15. To follow are edited extracts from the consultation paper that give the BMA’s views on some of the more interesting issues.
