Travelers to defend asbestos-related litigation, reserves unchanged

An appeals court has overturned Travelers’ asbestos settlement agreed in 2006

Travelers, one of the leading property/casualty insurers in the US, says it will vigorously defend direct action asbestos-related litigation after the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit overturned a March 2006 decision of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
