Air India seeks fog insurance for five-month period

Last year Oriental Insurance covered the risk of fog affecting flights and Air India is looking for a similar policy for 2007

For the second year in succession, Air India is seeking insurance cover against loss arising out of its flights being delayed by foggy conditions at 17 airports around the globe. In 2006, the airline had awarded the fog insurance contract to Oriental Insurance.
