Finance company battles for survival as investor confidence slides
Geneva Finance says the investor market has dried up following the recent wave of collapsed firms
Another New Zealand finance company, Geneva Finance, is fighting off possible receivership following the general loss of investor
confidence in the industry which has seen 10 companies fail in the past 17 months. Geneva has appealed to creditors and investors
to agree to a six month moratorium on payments, to allow it to survive its problems.
