Lloyd’s wins case

Lloyd’s is expected to begin recovering debts of more than £20m (US$31 m) from Canadian Names following a court case in Ontario. The Superior Court of Justice in Ontario granted an order that allows Lloyd’s to register judgements obtained in England against five Canadian names for non-payment. A further 83 names have agreed to be bound by the outcome of the case.
