Indonesia: a passenger train bound for the capital crashed into another train stopped at Gubuk Station, Java Island, killing at least 14 people and injuring more than 26. The trains bound from Jakarta to Surabaya, Indonesia’s second city, collided when carrying more than 1,000 people between them. Officials were investigating the cause of the accident. It appeared the moving train was able to brake before it smashed into the stationary one.
