Allianz looks to baby boomers making provisions for retirement

To indicate the potential that German insurer Allianz saw in the global life and managed fund sectors, the group's managing board chairman Michael Diekmann invoked the image of 200 million people in Allianz's core markets who had not yet made sufficient provision for retirement with appropriate asset management and life insurance products. Mr Diekmann was introducing the com-pany's half-year results to analysts.
