London Market insurer International Insurance Company of Hannover (Inter Hannover) saw an upsurge in its premium volume in 2001 following the successful launch of its new programme business account. Wholly owned by Hannover Re, Inter Hannover’s underwriting activities have been mainly focussed on traditional property/casualty and aviation business. But some three years ago the company started to expand into the programme business market.
