Holistic approach to risk

The financial world is increasingly aware of the importance of risk management. Yet how many institutions can say with real confidence that they are managing the full spectrum of risks effectively? Jeremy Scott , chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers Global Financial Services Group, says that for all the sophistication of banks’ credit and market risk management techniques, recent events suggest that there are plenty of other risks that need to be monitored and tamed.
