Lloyd’s new chairman

The former Lord Mayor of London, Lord Levene of Portsoken, has been named the next Chairman of the
Lloyd’s of London insurance market. He succeeds Sax Riley who retires at the end of the year. Currently, vice chairman of Deutsche
Bank London, Lord Levene is the first
Lloyd’s chairman to come from outside the insurance industry. He committed himself to carry on with the programme to make
Lloyd’s more transparent and profitable.
