Gibraltar threatens to walk away from OECD tax regime
The offshore finance centre of Gibraltar has said it will pull out of any agreement to co-operate with the Organisation for
Economic Co-operation & Development (OECD) on information exchange and harmonisation of tax practices unless other countries
in Europe and elsewhere are forced to do the same. The policy is an escalation in the war of words between offshore domiciles
targeted as potential tax havens and the OECD.
