Zurich Re to go
Zurich Financial Services is to spin off its Cologne and North American-based reinsurance subsidiary Zurich Re following the announcement of a disappointing
set of results for 2000. The reinsurer is set to be given its own identity and listed separately on the stock exchange – but
not before it and its parent undergo a major structural overhaul.
