New Zealand fire tax to be increased
The New Zealand Government has recently announced that the fire tax, which pays for the country’s Fire Service, will be significantly
increased to pay for the financial difficulties of the Service. These difficulties include demands for pay increases for professional
fire fighters, and a debt burden which now requires immediate attention.
