Government report on mediation programmes

The Ministry of Justice has published a report entitled “Twisting arms: court referred and court linked mediation under judicial pressure”. This report evaluates a quasi-compulsory mediation programme and a voluntary mediation scheme. The results describe the uptake of mediation, user experiences, and the potential of mediation to offer savings to the justice system.
