£74,000 for family of mesothelioma victim
The family of a man who died from asbestos-related mesothelioma have won more than £74,000 in compensation. The claimant was
a labourer for the firm, which is part of the now defunct Turner and Newall (T&N) group. His work inside railway carriages
involved putting raw asbestos into a spraying machine and then spraying asbestos on to the ceilings. He was never given any
protective clothing, or ventilation or breathing equipment.
