Compensation for noise induced hearing loss

A man who suffered from noise induced hearing loss (NIHL) accumulated over many years has won £4,000 in compensation. He brought his claim after realising that his hearing had become severely impaired, struggling to hear normal conversations and suffering from ringing in both ears. He was exposed to excessive noise and suffered accumulative noise induced hearing loss whilst working at steelworks.
