IOSH gets tough on “bonkers” health and safety scare stories

The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) has started to get tough on the media scare stories which blame health and safety policies. First, it responded to a Daily Mirror report of football being banned in the playground. IOSH slammed the decision by a school to ban football on the grounds of safety as “political correctness gone mad.”
