Substantial damages for car accident victim

A man has won “substantial damages” two years after a road accident left him with a serious brain injury and mobility problems requiring 24-hour care. The man was hit by a car after stopping to repair a blown tyre. He suffered a severe brain injury which requires him to use a wheelchair. He has no recollection of the accident and spent 51 days in intensive care.
