£75,000 in damages for child’s sexual abuse

A man who suffered years of sexual abuse at a children’s home in Scotland has been awarded £75,000 in damages for pain and suffering. He was subjected to regular physical, sexual and verbal abuse. The perpetrator was jailed for 15 years and died in prison. The victim sued the council for damages.
