7/7 victim wins unfair dismissal case

A victim of the 7 July bombings has won a substantial out-of-court settlement after she was dismissed after taking two days’ sick leave from the firm of recruitment consultants. She reportedly went home in distress over the death of a friend’s mother. She also suffered back injury pain after having been blown off her feet by the Tavistock Square bus bomb in July 2005.
