Bullying is rife in newspaper industry says NUJ

Recent NUJ research has shown that bulling and discrimination is rife in the newspaper industry. The NUJ 2006 Membership Survey, conducted by the Trade Union Research Unit at Ruskin College, found that of the total respondents who replied to the questionnaire, 31% said they had been bullied. In the newspaper sector, 40% had been bullied, in TV and radio 21% and a quarter in magazines and press and PR.
