Police officer entitled to damages for bullying

A police officer alleged that he experienced sustained bullying, harassment and intimidation from fellow officers, one of whom was his line manager, over a number of years. In addition, he was demoted and eventually retired from active service on medical grounds suffering from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression and shingles (brought on by the stress).
