£13,000 for holiday food poisoning

A man who suffered severe food poisoning on a Caribbean holiday which left him with Irritable Bowel Syndrome has been awarded damages of £13,000 for his Pain, Suffering and Loss of Amenity in addition to damages for his ruined Caribbean holiday. The tour operator admitted liability.
