Woman sues mother-in-law for bullying

A woman who sued her mother-in-law over allegations of bullying has been awarded £35,000 in damages. She brought the case under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997. She went to live with her mother-in-law after getting married. The marriage ended after just four months. She was made to work long hours and was not allowed out of the house unless accompanied.
